IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Senior Beth Baustian was named a second team Pocock All-American Thursday evening, as announced by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association (CRCA). She is the fourth All-American in University of Iowa rowing program history and the second in the last three seasons under head coach Andrew Carter.

All-Americans are evaluated based on coach recommendation, 2,000-kilometer erg score, and the strength of the team's 1V8+ finish nationally.

Baustian qualified to receive the accolade after earning first team All-Region recognition on May 27. The Davenport, Iowa, native joins Hawkeyes Morgan Grastorf (2014 second team All-American), Katy Kroll (2013 second team All-American), and Jessica Novack (2010 second team All-American) as an Iowa All-American.
