EUGENE, Oregon -- University of Iowa sophomores Brittany Brown and Elexis Guster wrapped their respective seasons with All-America honors Thursday at the 2015 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
Brown placed 17th in the 200 meters to earn All-America honors for the second straight season. Iowa's school record holder placed 11th in 2014 to earn second team honors, and finished in 23.19 on Thursday to earn honorable mention All-America accolades.
Guster finished her sophomore season as an honorable mention All-American after placing 21st in the 400 meters (53.70). She advanced to the NCAA semifinals for the first time in her career and will return for her junior season as the two-time reigning Big Ten champion.
