With the victory, the Hawkeyes earned win No. 8 this season, giving the program its ninth eight-win season since 2015.
The only year the Hawkeyes did not reach the eight-win plateau was the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season, where they posted a 6-2 overall record.
More importantly to Hawkeye fans, the program has now beaten Nebraska in the last 10 of 11 meetings, giving us bragging rights for another year.
