The awards just keep on coming.

Shortly after the Big Ten Network finished its hour-long basketball awards show, the conference announced that Iowa’s own Nicholas Baer was named the Big Ten’s sixth man of the year, voted in by the coaches in-conference.

Baer is the third Iowa player to earn the designation since 2006, where Doug Thomas won it in 2006 and Gabe Olaseni getting the nod in 2015.

McCaffery had nothing but praise for Baer in a press release, because of course:

What more can you say about Nicholas Baer? Nicholas gives you everything he has in every practice and every game.
