Former Iowa defensive back Cooper DeJean is flying high after a solid rookie season with the Philadelphia Eagles.
After the Eagles traded up and selected DeJean with the No. 40 overall draft pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, they knew they had a potential breakout star in the defensive secondary.
During his rookie season for the Eagles (2024-2025), DeJean tallied 51 total tackles (38 solo, 13 assisted), three fumble recoveries, and 0.5 sacks after missing the first five games of the season with an injury.
The most memorable moment for the former Hawkeye superstar came in the Eagles' Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.
