Iowa’s defensive backfield became a little slimmer this Friday, as cornerback Trey Creamer announced his decision to transfer after two years at the University of Iowa.
The redshirt freshman out of Cartersville, GA was a late addition to Iowa’s infamous Class of 2017. He was the first of what’s turned out to be a pretty consistent pipeline of Hawkeyes from the Peach State, as Iowa has made Georgia more of a focus in recruiting these past couple years. He took a redshirt in 2017 and then started the 2018 preseason season at #2 on the depth chart.
