It was a busy Saturday for former Hawks, as the NFL Draft concluded after three days of drama and hysteria in Green Bay.
In total, five players saw their NFL dreams come true as Kaleb Johnson, Yahya Black, Mitch Richman, Connor Colby, and Luke Lachey were selected between rounds three and seven.
We’ll start with Johnson, the earliest pick of the extravaganza for the Hawkeyes. Johnson went 83rd overall to Pittsburgh. The Steelers were in need of a running back and they got Johnson, who should be a great fit. Johnson slid some, but this is a great landing spot.
