As the new Iowa Men's Basketball coaching staff took shape over the past few months, former Drake assistant coach and Oskaloosa, Iowa, native Josh Sash was one of the first to follow Ben McCollum to Iowa.
Before joining McCollum's staff at Drake, Sash had 20 years of coaching experience, including head coaching experience at Indian Hills Community College (2023-2024) and Des Moines Area Community College (2019-2020).
Sash has settled into the Hawkeye program and spoke to the media after a summer practice this week during an open media availability.
In a portion of his interview with 247 Sports, Sash addressed how he is settling in with the Iowa program and how this job is a dream for him.
