While Iowa Football ultimately lost 26-21 to USC on Saturday afternoon, the first half contained some great moments on both sides of the ball.
On the very first drive of the game, Iowa put togteher a seven play, 69-yard touchdown drive that ate up nearly four mintues of the first quarter.
The drive was finished off by a Mark Gronowski touchdown pass to Dayton Howard, and it got the Hawkeyes off to a flying start.
The defense also kept USC's high-powered offense off the scoreboard in the first quarter as everything was going Iowa's way.
