Legendary Iowa Women's Basketball Head Coach Lisa Bluder has been living it up in retirement. Following the 2023 college basketball season, Bluder rode off into the sunset following a second straight appearance in the NCAA Championship game.
After guiding the Hawkeyes to six-straight NCAA Tournament appearances (excluding in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic) and back-to-back National Title game appearances, Bluder retired from coaching with a 528-254 (262-145 Big Ten) record at Iowa.
Bluder coached some of the best players in college basketball including Caitlin Clark and Megan Gustafson, and once Clark graduated, Bluder decided it was time to go.
