The Indiana Hoosiers had high expectations coming into this season after a College Football Playoff appearance last season in Head Coach Curt Cignetti's first season.

Indiana started the season red-hot, winning all four of their games, and destroying Illinois 63-10 the week before.

Iowa was ready to be a spoiler for Indiana's Playoff aspirations, but ultimately fell short.

After an ominous start to the game that featured a quick Mark Gronowski interception and a subsequent Indiana touchdown, the Hawkeyes settled in.

The defense came to play, holding the high-powered Indiana offense to 10 first-half points.
