Jay Higgins lead the Ravens in tackles during another solid preseason game

Undrafted rookie Jay Higgins continues to push for a spot on the 53-man roster. After going undrafted during this year's NFL Draft out of Iowa, Higgins is starting to make a name for himself.

Higgins was a force for the Iowa defense during his final two years in Iowa City after sitting behind star linebacker Jack Campbell.

Higgins racked up 295 total tackles (132 solo, 153 assisted), five interceptions, three sacks, and three forced fumbles in his last two seasons in Iowa City (2023, 2024).

Despite his dominant play, Higgins fell out of the NFL Draft, and was quickly signed by the Baltimore Ravens as a preferred free agent.
