After earning a big win on the recruiting trail at the beginning of October, Iowa Women's Basketball has taken two gut punches on two top 2026 prospects.
When five-star prospect McKenna Woliczko committed to the Hawkeye program at the beginning of October, it produced a wave of excitement surrounding the program.
After Woliczko's commitment, Iowa was also projected to land No. 1 in-state prospect Jenica Lewis and five-star prospect Addison Bjorn.
Lewis spurned her home-state Hawkeyes for Notre Dame, and now we now the fate of the second projected Iowa commitment in the 2026 recruiting class.
