After defeating the Indiana Hoosiers yesterday thanks to another incredible performance by Megan Gustafson (30 points, 17 rebounds) and some late game dominance from Kathleen Doyle, who hit a couple daggers and made two key blocks with time dwindling in the fourth quarter, Iowa faces another daunting task tonight as they take on third-seeded Rutgers.
Iowa has already defeated Rutgers once this season, winning 72-66 in Carver-Hawkeye Arena on January 23rd. Megan Gustafson scored 32 points and brought down 12 boards, while Iowa kept the Scarlet Knights to 16% shooting from deep.
If Iowa wins this game, they’ll play the winner of #1 Maryland vs.
