Iowa and Iowa State. That may not seem like it, but in Iowa, it is a complete sentence. It doesn’t matter what the sport or activity is, when these two schools get together, both teams are going to give it their all.
Tonight it’s women’s basketball on the menu in the Cy-Hawk Series. The game will be televised nationally on FS1.
Iowa currently leads the annual Cy-Hawk Series 7-6 with Iowa having wins in football (worth 3 pts), wrestling and women’s soccer while ISU has claimed victories in volleyball and men’s and women’s cross country.
The Cyclones basketball team is 6-1 on the season although none of their wins are over traditionally strong programs.
