The Iowa Men's Basketball program is staying busy during the offseason. The team continues summer workouts and team-building sessions, with one player heading overseas to participate in a FIBA Basketball tournament.
Iowa forward Alvaro Folgueiras was called up to Spain's Under-20 National Team to compete at FIBA EuroBasket 2025 in Heraklion, Greece.
Through three games of the tournament, Folgueiras is averaging 7.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists.
While Folgeuiras is working hard overseas, Iowa Head Coach Ben McCollum and his staff continue to stay active on the recruiting trail.
