Iowa forward Alvaro Folgueiras has had a busy 2024-2025. Last season for the Robert Morris Colonials, Folgueiras averaged 14.1 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists en route to being named the Horizon League Player of the Year.
Folgueiras was also extremely efficient shooting the basketball, shooting 54.8 percent from the field, 41.3 percent from beyond the three-point line, and 78.4 percent from the free throw line.
Folgueiras' final game in a Colonials' uniform was in a close 90-81 loss to Alabama in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. He notched a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
