IOWA FOOTBALL’S MATT HANKINS, TREY CREAMER SUSPENDED ONE GAME

Bad news loves company when it comes to Iowa football.

After enduring a gut-wrenching loss to Penn State, the program announced Sunday afternoon that two players who didn’t travel with the team for the game have been handed one-game suspensions.

Matt Hankins and Trey Creamer, two defensive backs for the team were charged and booked Sunday morning for disorderly conduct in connection to a loud house party in Iowa City.

University of Iowa head football coach Kirk Ferentz announced Sunday two players have been suspended from the team after receiving citations from the Iowa City Police Department early this morning.
