Personally, I was holding out hope that the 2018 Tatum-Woodson Defensive Back of the Year and AP All-American Amani Hooker would return for his senior year with the Iowa football program, a la Desmond King.
Yesterday afternoon we found out that, in fact, that would not be the case.
Amani Hooker, the junior safety from Minnesota announced his intentions to forgo his remaining eligibility and enter the 2019 NFL Draft.
