Quarterback commit Alex Padilla and Cherry Creek faced off against Valor Christian in the Colorado Class 5A State Championship last Saturday. Unfortunately, despite a solid performance from Padilla, Cherry Creek came up short, losing 24-14.
Padilla finished 12 of 18 passing for 103 yards with a touchdown and an interception (only his 4th of the season).
