Iowa Football offered 2027 prospect Mason McDermott following his weekend visit

The Iowa Football program had a busy weekend on and off the field.

The Hawkeyes welcomed the red-hot No. 11 Indiana Hoosiers to Kinnick Stadium for the annual Homecoming game.

Iowa ultimately came up short in the game, falling 20-15 in a hard-fought game, and now the Hawkeyes head into their bye week with a 3-2 (1-1 Big Ten) record through their first five games.

A strength for the Iowa program under Head Coach Kirk Ferentz has been the offensive line. Iowa always takes under-recruited offensive linemen and turns them into NFL-caliber players.

This season is no different as Iowa boasts the top offensive line unit in college football through the first five weeks, and it is not close.
