Iowa football: Hawks land Tristan Wirfs’ successor after visit

Kirk Ferentz keeps adding pieces to his already strong 2020 recruiting class for the Iowa football team and just found another in Mason Richman. The senior from Stilwell, Kansas primarily played his high school career as a defensive end but is being recruited as an offensive tackle.

He has a three-star rating per 247Sports and is ranked as the 5th best recruit in the state of Kansas. Richman holds offers from approximately a dozen schools and was at the Iowa skills camp back on June 2. He didn’t leave with an offer like 2021 commit Gennings Dunker did but it was enough for him to schedule an official visit.
