Iowa Football closed its non-conference slate with a dominating 47-7 victory over UMass. After the first three weeks of non-conference games, the Hawkeyes are 2-1 with wins over Albany and UMass, and a loss to Iowa State.
After the conclusion of the non-conference portion of the schedule, Iowa begins a tough Big Ten Conference schedule with a road game in Piscataway, New Jersey.
The Hawkeyes travel to New Jersey to take on Rutgers with a shortened week of preparation. Iowa will face Rutgers on Friday, September 19, at 7:00 p.m. Central Time.
