The Iowa Hawkeyes finally got back into the win column on Wednesday night as they toppled #25 Rutgers 79-66. It wasn’t always pretty and in the early goings it was downright ugly, but amidst a two-game skid and a streak of four losses in their last five games, it was a much needed win nonetheless.
That one win in the last five games came against the Michigan State Spartans. But like the win on Wednesday, Iowa’s victory over the Spartans wasn’t exactly pretty. The Hawkeyes struggled at times with CJ Fredrick limited.
