Oddly enough, the Iowa basketball team fell in the rankings last week despite winning both of their games including a road win against Indiana. While I can’t speak for the voters, it made absolutely zero sense to me especially considering I expected the Hawks to jump up a few spots.
Although the Hawks only played one game this week and it went down to the wire against Rutgers, there were a few losses right in front of Iowa that should let them jump up.
#20 Wisconsin just lost to Michigan State by eight points at home while #18 Kansas State just dropped a game to #23 Iowa State at home as well.
