The bad feelings from a tough defeat to DePaul to start the week were slightly eliminated as Iowa used their superior size to take down Oral Roberts 87-74.
Iowa led 55-40 at halftime and held the lead throughout the second half as the closest Oral Roberts could get was ten points.
The game was only available on Big Ten+ and the crowd at Carver-Hawkeye was anything but full and excited.
Luka Garza had a double-double with 30 points on 12-19 from the field including two three pointers. Garza had ten rebounds, six of which were offensive boards.
