Iowa baseball fans new and old, rejoice! There’s more baseball to be had yet this summer at Duane Banks Field: Iowa baseball is going to host 3 summer games at Duane Banks Field as a warm up for the 2017 World University Games, where the Hawkeyes will compete as the USA National Team.
Now this is all well and good. It gives Iowa Baseball fans another opportunity to see the Big Ten Tournament-winning Hawkeyes in action in the doldrums of summer before football season starts. It’s awesome that the Hawkeyes get to represent the red, white and blue.
