Iowa baseball: Jack Dreyer in the mix for 2020 rotation

Jack Dreyer was expected to have a much larger role for the Iowa baseball squad in 2019 but was lost to injury after making just two starts last season. In 2018, the Johnston, Iowa native made 14 appearances including 4 starts and struck out 42 batters in just 31.2 innings to the tune of a 3.70 ERA.

The Hawkeyes relied on Cam Baumann to step up in place of Dreyer who was good but not great throwing 64.2 innings while striking out 54 but allowed 38 earned runs and opponents batted 0.294 off him in 2019.
