After long-time Head Coach Fran McCaffery was fired, all the prospects that initially committed to Iowa Men's Basketball decommitted.
New Iowa Head Coach Ben McCollum snagged three prospects for the 2025 class, including flipping the 2025 Iowa Mr. Basketball, Trevin Jirak, from Northern Iowa, and adding Tate Sage and Peyton McCollum.
In the biggest recruiting win of McCollum's short tenure with the program, the Hawkeyes added 2026 forward prospect Trey Thompson to the squad, and he reclassified to join the Hawkeyes next season.
After Thompson reclassified to the 2025 recruiting class, Iowa has no recruits committed for the 2026 class.
