Hawkeye Football extended an impressive streak during awards season

It might not always be the sexiest brand of football, but the Iowa Football program has been a model of consistency under Head Coach Kirk Ferentz.

After returning to Iowa City after a stint in the NFL with the Browns and Ravens, Ferentz's start to his tenure was shaky at best.

Iowa had a putrid 4-19 record in Ferentz's first two seasons, but the program stuck with him, and the program has been better off because of it.

Since the 1999 season when Ferentz took over, Iowa has a 212-128 (134-91 Big Ten) record, including two Big Ten Championships (2002, 2004) and three Big Ten West Division titles (2015, 2021, 2023).
