After watching the 2019-2020 basketball season come to an abrupt end without either the Big Ten nor NCAA Tournament, then watching the wrestling team lose their shot at an NCAA Championship and again watching the football season come to a screeching halt with back-to-back cancellations, Hawkeye fans are likely waking up Thursday morning with some PTSD.
Iowa was scheduled to play host to Michigan State on Thursday evening. The Spartans, who were scheduled to depart for Iowa City on Wednesday, instead stayed home. That game has now been postponed due to COVID-19.
