The weather did its best to keep people away from a Saturday afternoon game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena (CHA).
Sections of Interstate-80 were closed, temperatures did not get out of the single digits, and snow was blowing around on Saturday as the No. 11 Iowa Hawkeyes welcomed Lindenwood to CHA in Iowa City.
The Hawkeyes were coming off a disappointing loss to Iowa State in a tight contest in Ames.
In a No. 10 versus No. 11, the Hawkeyes could not overcome a big night from Cyclones' star Audi Crooks.
The Hawkeyes held their own in the Cy-Hawk rivalry matchup, but everyone was left wanting more after the close loss.
