Sad news to report today. Former Iowa running back Damon Bullock has unexpectedly passed away in a car accident. He was 25.
Bullock was with the Hawkeyes from 2011-14, primarily serving as Iowa’s No. 2 option behind Mark Weisman. Bullock rushed for 1,074 yards and 4 touchdowns and hauled in 71 passes for 616 yards and a score in his 35 games as a Hawkeye.
He came on Iowa’s scene hot in his first start in an Iowa uniform in 2012, when the Hawkeyes was playing Northern Illinois at Soldier Field in the season opener.
