IOWA CITY, Iowa -- All eyes in the Hawkeye state turn to its biggest in-state football rivalry after both Iowa and Iowa State dismantled highly-rated Football Championship Subdivision opponents last weekend.

State bragging rights are at stake when the Hawkeyes (1-0) play at Iowa State (1-0) on Sept. 12 with a 3:45 p.m. (CT) start from Jack Trice Stadium. The visiting team has won three in a row in the series, including Iowa’s 27-21 decision in Ames in 2013.

Mount Pleasant’s Henry Krieger Coble will start for the Hawkeyes at tight end.
