BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Eric Schenck-Joblinske's RBI single in the 10th inning propelled the University of Iowa baseball team to a 6-5 victory over Indiana in the series finale Sunday afternoon at Bart Kaufman Field.
Iowa did its damage in the 10th with a two-out rally with three consecutive singles. Senior Nick Roscetti and Robert Neustrom had back-to-back base knocks before Schenck-Joblinske hit the first pitch he saw against IU's Thomas Belcher to give the Hawkeyes a 6-5 lead.
"Today was a step in the right direction," said UI head coach Rick Heller.
