SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Missouri State scored all five of its runs in two innings to rally from a 2-0 deficit to hand the University of Iowa baseball team a 5-3 loss in a winner's bracket game in the NCAA Springfield Regional on Saturday night at Hammons Field.

The Bears took advantage of nine Iowa free bases and got a dominant pitching performance from junior starter Matt Hall. The All-America southpaw allowed two runs on seven hits, while fanning 11, to pick up his 11th victory of the season.
