A former Hawkeye linebacker continues to add to his growing legacy in Detroit

The season for the Detroit Lions is going in the opposite direction of what every thought.

Last season, the Lions finished with a stellar 15-2 record, they were NFC North champions, and earned the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC.

Multiple injuries eventually caught up with them, and they were upset in the Divisional Round by the Washington Commanders.

After the season, the Lions lost two star coordinators, including offensive coordinator Ben Johnson and defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn.

Johnson took the head coaching position with the Chicago Bears, and Glenn took the head coaching job with the New York Jets.
