The Iowa Hawkeyes got things back on track on Tuesday night with a 70-55 win over our most hated rival - Purdue. The win pushed Iowa to 1-0 in the Big Ten and reset things after a 99-88 loss to #1 Gonzaga over the weekend. Now, the Hawkeyes get their first true road test of the season as they travel to Minnesota.
The Golden Gophers, like Iowa, enter the matchup at 7-1. However, Minnesota’s lone loss came at the hands of #13 Illinois ten days ago. The Gophers have a couple of solid wins on their resume over Boston College and Saint Louis, but have largely been untested outside the matchup with the Illini (they also managed to play Loyola Marymount not once, but twice - and two days apart no less!
