BREAKING: Iowa Dominates #6 Ohio State For 55-24 Upset Win

The Ohio State Buckeyes threw themselves back in the College Football Playoff conversation with last weekend's thrilling win over Penn State

Now, they're completely out of the running.

The Iowa Hawkeyes dominated from start to finish in a 55-24 drubbing of the Buckeyes, pushing them to 6-3 on the season while handing Ohio State their first loss of the season.

Iowa set the tone on the very first play of the game, intercepting J.T. Barrett's pass and returning it for a touchdown.

Turnovers would be the biggest problem for the Buckeyes tonight as Barrett threw four interceptions, including this one that sealed the game in the fourth quarter.

Ohio State's offense was generally lackluster as the Hawkeyes outgained them 487-371. Iowa's offensive effort was led by sophomore quarterback Nathan Stanley, who completed 20/31 passes for 226 yards and five touchdowns with no interceptions.

Iowa will try to knock off another top 10 team next weekend when they hit the road to take on #9 Wisconsin, while Ohio State will try to get back on track at home against Michigan State.
