The German newspaper SportBild claimed the Bayern Munich star drank alcohol during the club's training camp in Qatar - allegations he strongly denies.
Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal has launched a lawsuit against SportBild following allegations he drank alcohol during the club's winter training camp in Qatar.
On Tuesday night the German newspaper reported that Vidal had left the team's headquarters on several occasions in January and returned in an intoxicated state.
However, Vidal has now released a statement on his official Twitter account strongly denying the claims.
He said: "I would like to say that the claims published today in a German newspaper are absolutely false.
