Terry still eyes manager role

The 37-year-old is not ready to give up on his playing career but is happy to be working with players in the Chelsea youth system

John Terry says he still plans on becoming a manager as he begins training players at Chelsea's academy.

After declining a contract offer from Spartak Moscow in midweek, the defender returned to the Blues' training centre to work on getting his coaching certificates.

The 37-year-old has discussed the prospect of joining Maurizio Sarri's background staff, but he hopes to have at least one more season as a player.
