After Real Madrid beat Barcelona to the title on Sunday night, Goal looks at some of the poorest performers from the Primera Division in 2016-17
La Liga is over for another season and this time it was Real Madrid on top, with Barcelona finishing as runners-up, Atletico in third and Sevilla in fourth.
Villarreal finished fifth, with Real Sociedad in sixth, while Granada, Osasuna and Sporting Gijon were relegated.
In compiling the Worst Liga XI of the Season, Goal has not necessarily gone with the weakest players in each position, but rather those that have disappointed us the most.
