Former Stanford star, U.S. international and possible Seattle homegrown signing Jordan Morris is currently training with Werder Bremen during the Bundesliga club's winter break. By all accounts, the 21-year-old forward has impressed, leading to increased speculation he could sign his first pro contract in Germany – not in the Pacific Northwest.
If Morris does decide to go abroad it would represent a blow for MLS, which has prided itself in recent years as a league of choice for U.
