Solskjaer: Man Utd can't go 30 years without a Premier League title like Liverpool

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does not expect Manchester United to go 30 years without winning the title, stating Liverpool's drought should be a lesson for his club to learn from.

The Old Trafford side last won the English top flight in the 2012-13 season, during the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson's final campaign in charge before retiring, with the Red Devils' fortunes taking a drastic downturn since the Scot's departure.

Solskjaer is the latest manager charged with returning the club to their former glories and he continues to insist that United are planning for the long term as they look to avoid the same fate as Liverpool, who are only now on course to lift the Premier League title after three decades of domestic disappointment.
