Salah's Liverpool drought set to end against Southampton

Not since joining Liverpool from Roma has Mohamed Salah gone so long without a goal for the Reds, but history suggests that barren run will end for the Egyptian against Southampton.

It's now been eight games in all competitions since Salah found the back of the net for Liverpool - his longest run since a 10 match streak with Roma at the tail end of 2015.

While the lack of goals has worried some, Jurgen Klopp has backed Salah's form throughout a dry spell which does look destined to end on Saturday morning (AEST).
