Roma legend Totti offered route out of retirement by Australian minnows

Roma icon Francesco Totti has been offered a route out of retirement at the age of 41 by Australian side APIA Leichhardt.

The World Cup winner hung up his boots and called time on a legendary career in the summer of 2017.

He signed off at Roma having made close to 800 appearances and netted over 300 goals.

Totti now fills a directorial role at the Serie A club, having decided to quit a coaching course.

Part of his current position sees him travel the world as an ambassador of Roma, with one such journey about to take him to Australia to host a number of football clinics.
