Roar delaying coaching appointment due to lack of budget clarity

A number of names have been linked but Brisbane won't be confirming a coach anytime soon

Brisbane Roar vice-chairman Chris Fong admits they are holding off appointing their next coach due to a lack of clarity over how much they can invest into the club.

It's now been over four months since John Aloisi departed Brisbane with Darren Davies serving as interim coach.

Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler has been strongly linked to taking on the position long-term with Davies also apparently still in the running.
