Steve Bruce has been appointed as Newcastle United manager, replacing Rafael Benitez after the Spaniard failed to agree a new contract.
Bruce was a boyhood Magpies fan growing up and left Sheffield Wednesday for a return to Premier League management.
Punters had been nibbling at Newcastle's relegation odds since the news emerged that Benitez would be leaving the club at the end of June.
