Thankfully for this particular group of players, another chance is fast approaching: The 2018 World Cup in Russia, which is quite possibly the last opportunity for major international success for some of the squad.
Assuming, that is, that Argentina actually qualify—and there's no guarantee of that, with a 2-0 defeat to Bolivia on Tuesday night leaving Edgardo Bauza's team fifth in the standings.
