Onana has doping ban reduced as Arsenal plot Ajax transfer talks

The keeper has had his doping suspension reduced to nine months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport and will be able to play again in November

Arsenal transfer target Andre Onana has had his doping suspension reduced to nine months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)

The Ajax goalkeeper was banned for a year by UEFA in February after testing positive for Furosemide following an out-of-competition test.

But he has always maintained that he accidentally took medicine that was prescribed for his wife and launched an appeal to CAS, which was heard last week.
